In class today I will be writing about three goals for the 30 day I'm here at GLPS. Goals are achievements that you want to finish. Matt Cutts was a computer scientists and didn't like his life, so he thought of doing the 30 days of goals challenge. He said it greatly boosted self confidence. Instead of self confidence, I would like to learn something out of this experience. Fortunately my goals are things that will help me learn.
First, I want to listen to other peoples problems, and listen to them, or give them the power. I would like to do this because I am one of those people who talks and doesn't listen very often. I would like to change that so the other person gets that chance to speak, and when I listen I will be able to learn more about the person, bringing together a better friendship. Also if I listen more often I would be able to learn more from the teacher and also people wouldn't have to repeat things to me as often as it is right now. But to achieve this goal I would have to be more aware of my surroundings, and once I figured out my surroundings I would have to figure out what is happening and what to do. If I do all this then I would learn how to listen very well.
Next I would like to finish four books. To finish four books I need to go to the library and borrow books. Then I will read during free time and study time. I will learn about good models, good life lessons, and also it will help pass time and get rid of school pressure.
Lastly I would like to get zero EOP's during the whole camp. It will be hard for me to get one because I can't speak very good Korean or Spanish. But I will still speak in Korean at times of desperation, if I can. Therefore my chance of getting an EOP is slim but it is still possible for me to get one so I will be careful. Not getting an EOP will keep the chances of me getting a yellow card very slim.I hope I'm able to get an English reward and I pray that my time in the united states paid off!
I hope to follow these goals to become a better person and i think i will learn a lot if i follow these goals. I hope i achieve every single goal and i get a boost in confidence!
Ho Paul! I think that the 1st goal you have written is really good because it will help you a lot later in life. You second goal seems a bit challenging. For me personally, I take forever to read books but maybe you are a fast reader. Now your last goal. I would say that you have a 99.99% chance of not getting an EOP Paper so you shouldn't worry too much. This writing was pretttt good so I look forward to your next writing!
Hi! I like your first goal because I would also like to be able to listen to other people's problems and help them if I can. I also had getting zero EOPs as one of my goals too. I hope you can achieve all of your goals during GLPS.
